Outreach

Both locally and globally, we show God’s love in a tangible way by being His hands and feet to those in need.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH PARTNERS

We share God’s love and message of hope, both locally and globally, because God first loved us and gave us hope. We partner with ministries in the Charlotte area and in a few other countries to share Christ’s love, fight for justice, provide for needs, and respond to the things God puts on the heart of our community.

PROJECT 658

Project 658 is one of our newest partners connected with us through Mark Landon. Project 658 is a Christ-centered, holistic ministry providing services for at-risk families in Charlotte, moving them toward sustainability; with a key focus on the international and refugee communities. They believe that Christ’s love compels us to change the world through serving our neighbors.

Ways to get involved:
658 Academy – help students with distance learning Mondays – Thursdays from 8 am – 12 pm.

REFUGEE SUPPORT SERVICES

Refugee Support Services is a local refugee support organization that walks alongside refugee families in their new season of life in Charlotte, after their initial resettlement. RSS follows the motto, “Arrive. Survive. Thrive,” and therefore focuses on empowering families towards self-sufficiency and a flourishing new life. CityChurch engages with RSS to care for and help with their emotional and practical needs. We do this by supporting their education program, community events, and self-sufficiency classes.

NEIGHBORHOOD HOPE

The Abandon Project’s mission is to model the love of Jesus to hurting communities who deserve freedom from negative cycles. Their hope is to be the father to the fatherless and imagine communities set free from negative cycles, through love, consistency, and oneness. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, they wouldn’t be able to serve those in our community each year. Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to continue in our work.

Ways to get involved:
Monday Night Neighborhood Initiative
Wednesday Night Health Initiative.

1 John 4: 19-20

“We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, “I love God” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.”
