Message: “Pontius Pilate and the Jesus Paradox” from Matthew Hemsley

A message from the series “Meeting Jesus.” When Pontius Pilate met Jesus, he couldn’t get his head round the man. This was said to be a king, but he was unlike any king Pilate had ever heard of. He claimed to have power, but it wasn’t power as Pilate, a Roman Governor, understood it. Jesus stood in front of him an accused criminal, and talked about the truth. Yet Jesus refused to defend himself.

Pontius Pilate and the Jesus Paradox

When Pontius Pilate met Jesus, he couldn’t get his head round the man.
